HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Clue week is LONG over.  I guess I haven't updated in a while! Well, I got my big and I LOVE the Gretchen and the royal family! They're crazay! But so am I, so it fits.  I get to come home for thanksgiving!! So give me a call if you'll be in Roswell and want to hang out! On a not-even-a-tangent note, I've had an awesome halloween weekend.  I went to the Ok Go concert for freakin free, and it was AWESOME! I got autographs and pictures with the band! And then my crazy friend Bob and I went to the sailing party, where he proceeded to have a lot of beer (which I can't stand, btw) and acted crazier than usual.

B:"I'm so fast right now!"

Me: How fast are you?

B:" If I normally ran X, then now I run 2X!!"

While wearing the lacy cape that went with my devil outfit.  Good times.  But after certain incidents on Friday, I'm more confused than ever about who I want to take to my sororities formal. I basically narrowed it down to 3 guys, and somehow other girls have crushes on all of them.  But yeah, I misjudged one of them, which kinda hurts, and if I'd had a lot more to drink and a LOT less morals, I could've been *that girl.* As it was, someone else was that girl and I was the girl trying to bring a little common sense to the mix.  That didn't go well.  Guys, even if you're really really drunk, if you have a girlfriend, please dont cheat! It makes me sad.

But yeah.  I'm really regretting not doing something with music this semester.  I'll have to see if I can fix that next semester.  The only thing open this late may be a rag-time type group.  Their flyer says they need woodwinds, but flute in general and me specifically are not really meant for that.  But we'll see.  So, for now I'm going to go finish copying notes and hopefully, I'll see or hear from you all later!

CLUE WEEK! For those who don't know, which probably is a lot of you, in my sorority everyone has a "big sister" otherwise known as your big.  The entire line of people is your family.  Last Wednesday, all us pledges preffed the top 10 people we wanted to be our bigs, and they did likewise for who they wanted to be their littles.  So, now everyone in the sorority EXCEPT for the new littles knows who is related to who.  Basically, for the past several days I constantly get IM's or have random people tell me "I know who your big is!!" Haha.  So this Wed through Sat, our bigs send us on clues and basically give us tons of presents!

This morning after my 8 am class, I came back to find a huge poster and balloons and streamers decorating my door, not to mention the pretty pink package and clue outside it! So now I have a new manicure and I'm going out for some mysterious "Halloween Fun" tonite.  Then, there's pumpkin carving, a date party (and my big is fixing me up with someone) a concert, and most likely a lot of drinking later on.  I'm really excited, and I'm really happy my sorority isn't one of the massive drinking ones.  Depending on the family, of course.  I don't think mine is, but my liason sister did ask me what kind of alcohol I liked. . . But I have a slew of people who have promised to watch out for me when I come back in this week, and as long as I don't end up puking all over the bathroom and losing control of my bladder like one Pi Beta Phi did, I think I'll be ok.

So, I'm going to go work on astronomy (while I've got the time) and try not to overanalyze my clues.  This is so exciting!! Its like a freaking scavanger hunt with presents, liqour, and a family at the end!! (^.^)/

Mid-terms coming up.  I really don't have mid-terms, per se.  I have an interview in Japanese (can I say intimidating much?) and I have periodic tests, but no mid-terms as in one of two tests.  Nonetheless, I'm trying desperately to force myself to catch up with my reading that I've been avoiding since, oh, school started.  I always find something else I'd prefer doing.  Such as Bush Gardens Friday with my prespective student I was hosting.  And the 5 others that I "adopted." Aaaaaand, segue to random story of Rachelle putting foot in mouth.  So we were talking about the freaky clowns trying to scare us, one of my adopted children says "Drag queens scare me" and I go "What, are you homophobic?" and he bursts out laughing and says "Honey, I'm gay." Lol.  Yeah, I blundered that one.  But really, I feel so unorganized.  I feel like I have too much stuff to do, socially with my sorority and friends, academically with my classes, and with all the other activities I'm in.  For instance, I stayed up all night last night (and that's a story that's not going in this journal-y thingie) and ended up sleeping from 11 until 630,  meaning that I missed a big-little event at noon and a meeting for new G-Phi's.  Ok, so I'm going to go try to get my act together, do some more astronomy reading, do my calisthenics with my roommate, and get some (more) sleep! Leave me a message- I miss the love! : )
